We strive to keep your personal data confidential, to the extent that such information is not provided on the public areas of QuizBoto and pursuant to SDI’s Terms and Conditions of Service (“User Agreement”) found on QuizBoto. Information We Collect
We collect certain non-personal technical and other data and certain personal data through your use of QuizBoto in several ways: (i) when you register for the services provided through QuizBoto (the “Services”), (ii) when you use the Services, and (iii) when you elect to contact us electronically to request a trial, ask a question or for other reasons.
We also receive automatic and passive data (both personally identifiable and otherwise) from the computer used to access QuizBoto and when you interact with QuizBoto. In this regard, we use common automated data gathering tools.
If you have logged into QuizBoto with your user name and password, we do keep logs of what links you have clicked on and information you have entered while visiting QuizBoto. This information can include contact information such as your name, address, e-mail address, phone number, and similar information.
In some of our emails to you, we use a “click-through URL.” When you click one of these URLs, you pass through our web server before arriving at QuizBoto that is your destination. We track click-throughs to help us determine your interest in particular topics and measure the effectiveness of our customer communications.
In compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, 15 U.S.C. §§ 6501-06 and 16 C.F.R. §§ 312.1-312.12, we will not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to use the Services of QuizBoto. If you are under 13, please do not use QuizBoto or send any data about yourself to us, including your name, address, phone number, or email address. By using QuizBoto, you represent that you are not under 13 years of age. Please check your local laws regarding the minimum age for use of websites which collect personal data.
QuizBoto may contain links to other sites. SDI does not share your personal data with those websites and is not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to learn about the privacy policies of those companies.
SDI may collect confidential personally identifiable data known as “CPII”. CPII is collected on portions of QuizBoto in which https:// is part of QuizBoto address and/or when a password is required to enter; otherwise, it is assumed that portion of QuizBoto is an unsecure or publicly-available portion of QuizBoto. CPII includes any information which if lost, compromised, or disclosed without authorization, could result in substantial harm, embarrassment, inconvenience, or unfairness to an individual.
If we are going to use your personal data differently from that stated at the time of collection, we will try to contact you via email using the most recent information we have. If you have not given us permission to communicate with you, you will not be contacted, nor will we use your personal data in a new manner, except as allowed by our updated User Agreement.
Why we collect personal data
We collect and use personal data to give you superior customer service, to provide you with convenient access to the Service, and to make a wider range of services available to you. In addition, we use your personal data to keep you up to date on the latest product announcements, special offers, and other information we think you’d like to hear about.
When we disclose personal data
We do not sell our mailing list. At times we may be required by law or legal process to disclose your personal data.
Except as otherwise described in SDI’s User Agreement, we restrict access to personal data to SDI and its affiliates, employees, contractors and agents or parties who may need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve the Services. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations.
How we protect your personal data
SDI safeguards the security of the data you send us with physical, electronic, and managerial procedures. We urge you to take every precaution to protect your personal data when you are on the Internet. Change your passwords often, use a combination of letters and numbers, and make sure you use a secure browser or computer or personal electronic device. You are responsible for the security and upkeep of your password to third parties outside of our Services.
SDI uses industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption on all web pages where personal information is required. This protects the confidentiality of your personal and bank account information while it is transmitted over the Internet.
Access to your personal information
You always have access to the information we have about you. To review and update your personal contact information, simply logon to QuizBoto.com and click your name in the upper right corner of your screen.
SDI Innovations may use your name in its marketing efforts to provide information to other parties on the people that use QuizBoto. This may also include any public reviews that you have posted regarding your use of QuizBoto. By using QuizBoto, you agree to this limited use of your name and/or comments/reviews.
You have control over your personal data and how it is collected, used and shared. For example, you have a right to: (i) erase or delete all or some of your personal data; (ii) manage your account and the content contained in it as well as some of your personal data; or (iii) access and take your data. You can download a copy of your personal data or request a copy of the data you provided to SDI.
SDI will retain data you store on QuizBoto as long as your account is in existence or as long as we need it to provide you the Services. If you delete your account, SDI will initiate deletion of this data after 30 days. Please note: there may be some latency in deleting this data from our servers and storage and we may retain this data if necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce SDI’s agreements.
To provide you with the Services, we may store, process, and transmit data in the United States and locations around the world. Data may also be stored locally on the devices you use to access the Services.
